FAQs

General

Winters in cold weather climates bring snow and ice which means you have to shovel, plow or salt walkways, and stairs. Heatstone Connex patio stones offer an easy-to-install, convenient and reliable radiant heating system to keep high outdoor traffic areas snow- and ice-free throughout the winter season.

Heated patios and areas around hot tubs also extend the enjoyment of outdoor places as well as increase home, commercial and rental property values.

This innovative system is available to purchase as stones with or without concrete, allowing for an easy-to-install approach. Installation can be handled in just a few hours, without the need for electricians, or even special tools or permits. The system itself plugs into a 120V power outlet, so it’s easy to start.

The Heatstone Connex System can be expanded to a maximum of sixteen 2′ x 2′ stones to run on off a single circuit. Each stone is designed to be a self contained heated unit. Each enclosed heated unit (a combination of multiple panels) requires one power cable, one termination cap and several bridging cables (bridging cable connect one panel to the next).
